Life is short. Why wait till it is late to do what you want to do? Make your dreams a reality NOW. Many people look forward to the future hoping that one day they'll have their dream job, one day they will do what they have a passion for, etc. Inevitably, time goes on, and before they know it, it’s too late. Waiting to act, leads to a life of regrets. Don't wait until the future. Have no regrets. Failing is a choice. Act now!

1. Set Goals

Yes, set goals. Without prioritizing you will end up not making any progress forward. Prioritize, and strive to set goals that are meaningful. The goals you create should make you want to grow. The law of the universe suggests, if you are not growing you are dying. For example, a plant that does not grow dies. Are you dying or growing? Conquer your goals one day at a time. Start small and celebrate your victories.

2. Trust in your Abilities

Don't allow negative thoughts to enter your mind. Other people cannot do it better than you; remember you are in a race against the best version of yourself, not others. Do not deceive yourself to believe they have unique superpowers; they do not. People who succeed trust in their abilities. If you don't trust your skills, start now. Work on them. Abilities are like muscles, the more attention you give them, the stronger they'll get.

3. Fail More

Fail more. What? You cannot develop a will to succeed if you do not experience adversity that tests you. Just like gold passing through the refiner’s fire, you get purer with each pass of the flame. To build your will to succeed you must not fear failure. Learn from failure. Do not run from it. Running from failure make you weaker, while embracing failure makes you stronger.

4. Focus

Focus requires some consistency. Work on not losing sight of your goals. There will be many distractions and setbacks on the way to building the will to succeed, do not be troubled by them. Stay the course. Eliminate excuses. Be relentless in your focus and aim.

5. Listen to your Gut

Listen to your gut. No one knows you better than you know yourself. Take time to pause and reflect. Logic is sound, but not bulletproof. Many well-wishers, will give you advice. Let your gut instinct be your compass. Success is relative to each person. Delve deeper and discover what success means for you. Refrain from allowing others to define your success. We are each on a separate journey.
